A Crack in the Line is a novel about Chance, and the very different ways things might go for one small family following a certain dramatic situation. It is not a thriller or a mystery story, but it will undoubtedly excite the imagination of readers who look for surprises and unexpected conclusions in their fiction. The setting, by the way, is very real: the big riverside house I was born in. Recommended readership: mid-teens and up, including adult. Younger readers might enjoy my Jiggy McCue novels, of which there are now five.
