Thanks
I want to thank the folks who have shown interest in the The Right Man for the Job. It’s an honor to share my words with strangers. And, while I don’t presume to tell anybody what the book is supposed to mean or whether or not the book is a great read, I can say that if you have read this book, or if you are about to read it, I hope you will take a long look at the rent-to-own business that the book concerns. To my knowledge I have portrayed the rent-to-own business accurately. It is a business designed to take money from folks who hardly have any, and the people who work in the business, the front-line workers in the repo trade, aren’t making much more than poverty-level income off the terrible things they do in the name of having a job. Rent-to-own companies should be banned. America will be a better place without them. I believe that. And I hope that The Right Man for the Job will inspire you to believe the same and to find a way to speak up about it.
