Seller: Space Age Books LLC, Conroe, TX, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. "FIRST U.S. EDITION" and full printing line with "1" on its copyright page. This book of essays about science fiction is signed FOUR times by THREE of its illustrious SF authors. Robert Silverberg signed the title page of his essay "Sounding Brass, Tinkling Cymbal". Frederik Pohl signed the title page of his essay "Ragged Claws" (with inscription "for Mike".) And Harry Harrison signed twice: as co-editor on the book's title page, and as a contributor on the title page of his essay "The Beginning of the Affair". This book is in good condition, marred only by wear on its spine ends, rubbed and worn title on its spine, some shallow indentations and edge bumps on its covers, plus some faint stains on the edges of its text block (extending very slightly onto page faces.) Its binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers and pages are otherwise unmarked and unworn. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in very good condition, whole and unmarked, with some tanning along its top edge and flap folds, and very light wear on its spine ends, but otherwise bright and unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble cushion, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.
