Synopsis
This series is designed to encourage children's awareness of the different purposes of writing and to develop their ability to use and apply its different forms for a variety of audiences. There are six pupil's books and two teacher's guides. The series aims to meet the need for a structured, graded course covering functional everyday uses of writing as well as personal and creative writing. This book is intended for 10-12-year-olds and it uses topics of interest to this age group. It gives practice in writing dialogue, descriptions, poems, stories, lists, messages, letters, posters, instructions, information and opinions.
