"Keeper of the Stream" was Frank Sawyer's first book and was published by A and C Black in 1952. Since then, a number of reprints have been produced and the book remains today a highly sought after classic. The book details the life of a Wiltshire chalk-stream through the eyes of a river-keeper in the 1930s and 40s. This special limited edition version produced by the Sawyer family is the first to contain photographs but more importantly contains new previously unpublished material from Frank's personal notes. The new introduction by Frank's only son Tim also provides a new and personal insight into one of the fishing world's greatest men.
