Sandra A. Agard was born in Hackney, London and is of Guyanese heritage.
Sandra is a professional storyteller, author, playwright, literary consultant, book doctor and cultural historian. She has worked for over forty years in libraries as a literature development consultant. She has worked in educational, cultural institutions, organisations and literary festivals throughout the UK and in the United States.

Charisma Standley is a Nigeria-based artist who is just starting out her career and studying as a visual development artist in animation. She also freelances as a children’s book illustrator. Charisma began her art journey in 2019 during her internship in engineering, made the switch and has been studying and working as an artist ever since. Common themes you would find in her work include bold colours and vibrant characters. She seeks to explore and create more visually appealing worlds.
