About the Author:

David Weatherly is a School Improvement Adviser and a specialist consultant for geography 3-18 working across the UK and internationally. After 20 years of full time teaching combined with senior leadership roles, David became Adviser for Geography in Devon. Today he combines this role with education support work for a range of organisations. He teaches regularly.

Nicholas Sheehan is a Geography and Sustainability Education Advanced Skills Teacher with over 15 years of experience of developing curriculum materials for schools. He has worked as a Head of Geography and as part of the school improvement team in Devon where he worked across the age range from EYFS to KS5. He also worked as a Geography PGCE course leader. Nicholas is currently the Academic Director of Jerudong International School in Brunei Darrusalam, Northern Borneo.
