About the Author

Mira Mehta began Yoga as a child with B.K.S. Iyengar. She studied Sanskrit and Indian Philosophy at Oxford University and, following many years of teaching, gives lecture tours in Europe and the US, and Yoga workshops both in the UK and abroad. She is the organiser and principal teacher of The Yogic Path courses in London and writes regularly for Yoga & Health magazine. Previously published titles include the best-selling Yoga: The Iyengar Way and How to Use Yoga.
