Over the years we have tried to keep our phrase books in touch with modern life and reflect what you come across abroad. So you won't find ‘I have two pounds of tea for my own use’ (Collins Italian 1938). Nor will you find ‘Please stop the bus, my child is feeling sick’ (Collins French Phrase Book & Dictionary 1990).
