Synopsis
This book is written by Roderic Jeffries. The bright sunshine of this island is overclouded by death, and Inspector Alvarez realises that wherever there are large sums of money involved there is motive for murder, and wherever there are strong emotions there is also motive for murder. Inspector Alvarez has to dig deep into the expatriate way of life on Mallorca, normally a relaxed atmosphere with leisurely wining and dining, and perhaps the odd business deal, before he comes up with the answers he needs. Roderic Jeffries is a prolific mystery writer who can also turn his hand to children's books and writing for television.
