Review

'Flashman is a wonderful creation, by a master storyteller. We'll forever delight in his evil antics' JEFFREY ARCHER

‘Politically incorrect, lascivious and fiendishly handsome, Flashman is the greatest ’ BORIS JOHNSON

‘Flashman is one of the great characters of modern fiction; a rogue, a lover, and always an irresistible read’ BERNARD CORNWELL

‘Flashman, Sherlock Holmes, Toad of Toad Hall, Bertie Wooster. Any writer would give his eye-teeth to have created a character as good as those. GMF was one of the greats’ CONN IGGULDEN

‘The perfect fictional creation’ TONY PARSONS

‘A first-rate historical novelist’ KINGSLEY AMIS

From the Back Cover

What was Harry Flashman doing on the slopes of Little Bighorn, caught between the gallant remnant of Custer’s 7th Cavalry and the withering attack of Sitting Bull’s Braves? He was trying to get out of the line of fire and escape yet again with his life (if not with his honour) intact after setting the American West by its ears. Here is the legendary and authentic West of Mangas Colorado and Kit Carson, of Custer and Spotted Tail, of Crazy Horse and the Deadwood Stage, gunfighters and gamblers, eccentrics, scoundrels and, of course, Indian belles, dusky beauties, enthusiastic widows and mysterious adventuresses; this seventh volume of 'The Flashman Papers' shows the West as it really was. Terrifying!

“Flashman is the greatest thing to come down the pike since Horatio Hornblower packed up his flag”
CHICAGO TRIBUNE

“The Flashman books bristle with action...and they are very, very funny. The seventh Flashman is as fresh as the first”
THE TIMES

Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Flashman and the Redskins is the 7th book in the Flashman series and covers Sir Harry Flashman's exploits in the Indian Wars, including Sitting Bull and the Battle of the Big Horn. The book, in bright red covers is in fine condition. The D/W is in fine condition also and is protected by a clear plastic sleeve. There is the slightest inference of sunning to the spine affecting only the light brown coat of the Indian Chief. Internally, the pages are in fine, clean condition and the book appears little read. The D/W is not price clipped and the price, 7.95 pounds net, is present at the bottom of the inside flap at the front of the book. Seller Inventory # 000011
