In 1941, the United States inaugurated a new military concept in the US Army: the tank destroyer. The term "tank destroyer" evolved into a broad concept containing personnel, equipment and units strike. This illustrated monograph demonstrates the flawed conception of the tank destroyer unit and gives credit to the American soldiers who still were able to successfully work inside its definition.
