Most people think the fight against rising food prices is won at the supermarket checkout. It isn’t. It is won afterwards — in the quiet choices made in your kitchen, your freezer, and your weekly routine.
The £700 Freezer Fix is a practical, eye-opening British guide to cutting food waste, lowering your grocery bill, and turning your freezer into one of the most useful money-saving tools in your home.
Inside, you’ll discover how to:
Food waste is one of the most overlooked household expenses in Britain. A loaf that goes mouldy. A packet of chicken forgotten at the back of the fridge. A bag of salad bought with good intentions but binned by Thursday. None of these moments feel expensive on their own, but over a year they can add up to hundreds of pounds thrown away.
This book shows you how to stop that leak.
Written for busy families, careful shoppers, students, couples, pensioners, batch cookers, yellow-sticker hunters, and anyone tired of watching grocery prices rise, The £700 Freezer Fix gives you a realistic system for making food last longer and work harder.
This is not a book about living miserably, eating bland meals, or turning your kitchen into a military operation. It is not about spending every Sunday batch cooking until midnight or buying expensive storage gadgets you will never use. It is about using what you already have with more intelligence, less waste, and a lot more control.
You will learn how to freeze bread, milk, butter, cheese, herbs, sauces, rice, mince, stock, cooked meals, vegetables, leftovers, and supermarket reductions in ways that actually make sense. You will also learn why so many households waste food in the first place, how supermarket psychology encourages overbuying, and how simple planning habits can protect your budget from panic spending and last-minute takeaways.
The freezer is often treated like a graveyard for forgotten food.
Used properly, it becomes something very different.
It becomes a savings account.
With clear explanations, real-world household examples, practical freezer techniques, and a complete 90-day reset plan, The £700 Freezer Fix gives you the tools to reduce waste, shop smarter, cook with less stress, and keep more money where it belongs — in your pocket.
For anyone who has ever opened the fridge, sighed at what has gone off, and thought, “There has to be a better way,” this book is that better way.
