Dating to the post-WW2 Japanese Economic Miracle, the Japan Industry Floating Fair (JIFF) was launched in 1960 as part of the effort to promote the export of its latest manufactures. Operated by the JIFF Association made up of Japanese businesses, trade and commerce bodies, its stated aim was "to gain a better understanding from the friendly nations of the high standard of our industrial technique and the superiority of our industrial products, which will, we are quite confident, make a great contribution to the expansion of our mutual trade and the promotion of the international comity" (p2). Shipping terms
SHIPPING: Domestic and international shipping is tracked and insured with UPS. This has unfortunately meant an increase in domestic rates especially, and in most cases I am absorbing some of the increase. (I have moved away from Royal Mail owing to a series of problems).
DELIVERY DEADLINES: If you have a hard deadline for receipt that is before the processing time stated on Abe, eg, if you need it to arrive urgently before you travel or before a particular event, please contact me at the time of order to advise, so options can be discussed and steps taken to ensure it gets there in time.
RETURNS: Please return any items for refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date, and contact me first with the reason for the return to establish whether postal costs will be included in the refund. If the item is not as described, I will cover the original and return post.
