Want the whole human story, five minutes at a time?
365 Days of World History tells the human story in one page a day: 365 daily lessons in strict timeline order, from the first footprints pressed into volcanic ash to the week you're living in now. Each page carries a voice from the time (a chronicler, a letter-writer, an inscription), a story built from specific, checkable facts, and usually a challenge to something you learned at school.
- A Year-Long Timeline: January opens 3 million years ago with a fossil nicknamed Lucy. By May you're watching Mansa Musa's gold caravan unsettle Cairo. September marches through the world wars, and December asks how history gets written at all. Read in order for the full arc, or open any page at random; every entry stands on its own.
- 1,000+ Facts That Stick: A Chinese fleet with ships five times the size of Columbus's. A library bought by weight in gold. A wrong turn in Sarajevo. Your alphabet traces back to Phoenician merchants, your hour to Babylonian arithmetic, and your morning coffee to an Ottoman controversy.
- Myths, Corrected: The flat-earth Columbus story, the pyramid "slaves," Marie Antoinette's cake. When legend and record disagree, you get both, labeled honestly.
- Six Continents, Told Fairly: Uruk and Great Zimbabwe, Baghdad and Tenochtitlan, empires you know and several you probably don't.
- The Perfect Gift for History Lovers: Thoughtfully designed for birthdays, holidays, and graduations; an inspired pick for history buffs, trivia fans, students, and anyone with five quiet minutes and a curious mind.
The past is the longest story we have, and you can read it bit by bit over an entire year.
Take the world's history one page at a time.
