From the Author
This book is available and shipping. It's for newcomers and veterans to voice processing and computer telephony. It is a standard reference and training manual for many top-flight organizations. Use it to train your sales people, brainstorm new products and teach your customers about computer telephony.
Based on the highly successful "236 Killer Voice Processing Applications," this second edition provides the most diverse and comprehensive listing of the best voice processing solutions known.
Your telephone is the first line to your customers. They call to find out how much money they have in your bank. They call to find out when their car will be ready. They call to find your nearest distributor, etc. You can give them this info easily with voice processing systems. But which is best in your company? This book is crammed with real-world examples of voice processing. It gives you an overview of all the systems you could choose. You'll get great examples of outbound dialing systems, Audiotex, voice messaging, fax-on-demand, call centers and Interactive Voice Response. Once you know the field, you can pick the one(s) that make the most sense for your company ease, speed, price, customer impact, etc. This book will save time and money choosing the wrong app. It will point you to the right apps. And with the right apps, you will make your customers love you more, make your company more productive (no more answering routine calls for bank balances) and, in the process, make your company more profitable.
This book is for all marketing and product managers, call center managers and IS professionals. This second edition includes 101 more killer apps.
