From the Introduction:
I struggle to spend regular time reading the Bible each day. But, I have met God through studying scripture and he has changed my life as a result. I know the transformation that’s possible when someone reads scripture, internalizes it, and begins to live it out. It’s not about gaining knowledge or wisdom, or obeying the Bible’s rules, but allowing God access to your heart and mind, and being open-handed with how the Holy Spirit might work in your life. It’s my hope and prayer that this devotional will challenge and encourage you as you read scripture and consider who Jesus is, and how that reality impacts how we live our lives. - Amy Wellner
