As America continues its social evolution, it is imperative that we acquire the Racial Intelligence necessary for an inclusive, fair, and humane form of resources sharing.
QUESTION: What is Racial Intelligence?
ANSWER: Racial Intelligence represents an individual's ability to understand the concepts of race and racism in a way that prevents the production of issues in your interactions with individuals from other racial groups. Furthermore, Racial Intelligence can be measured by an individual’s internal capacity for effectively analyzing and understanding their thoughts, emotions, and attitudes towards people from other races. Racial Intelligence is also measured by an individual’s cognitive and instinctual capacity to engage in effective critical thinking and decision making when engaging in cross-racial interactions. Finally, Racial Intelligence is characterized by the ability to use race and racism as a platform for promoting unity, equality, harmony, peace, and justice.
The 21-LAWS outlined in this manual serve as principles and approaches for increasing your Racial Intelligence. These 21-LAWS represent viewpoints, perspectives, and actions individuals can employ to raise their Racial Intelligence. These 21-LAWS are instruments and tools that can build into the reader, a valuable social skill-set as it relates to understanding and responding to matters of race and racism. As more Americans begin to increase their Racial Intelligence, more people from all racial groups will begin to experience increased justice and equality - no matter the color of their skin.
