This 11" x 7 1/4" 56 page album of 44 photos (measure 2 3/4" x 4 1/2"), with daily handwritten entries of a trip abroad from New York to Ireland, France, England, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, and back again. All photos, postcards, etc. are glued to the thick pages of this album. The cover is brown and in the corner it reads "Memory Book". The first few pages are an unused log (except for the addition of the signature of "Anthony DeMilio Feb. 1981"). The last quarter of the album is left empty. Photos of landmarks, mountains, rivers, gardens, markets, acquaintances, and a few self-portraits of the unnamed woman. Most entries speak of the day's weather, the waking and sleeping patterns of the scribe, how many miles were made since the last entry, and acquaintances made throughout this summer excursion on the S.S. "President Arthur" and further inland, on foot, by steamboat, sailboat, and train. There are four postcards from Germany, seven postcards from Switzerland, a map of the Alps, and two relics from her viewing of Passion Play in Munich. Two excerpts transcribed below: "July 16th- Cloudy day. Went to Süllberg via train - walked down the Mt. Through very quaint villages. Walked along the beach at base of the Mt. Had lunch and coffee on beach in a little garden. Retraced our steps part way up mountain and came to old thatch roofed house where two old ladies were gossiping. We made their acquaintance and were invited in this old house (200 years old) - and very quaint. Old ladies accompanied us down to the foot of the mountain again." "Aug 15th - Cloudy morning. Left Interlaken 8.45 for the Jungfrau (The Alps). Rained all the way up. Changed trains at the Scheidegg and got into an electric heated train. Went right up through the Alps getting out at two lookout stations. Then continued our journey, terminating at the Jungfrau (highest point). When we arrived there, there was a terrific snow storm raging, which lasted about 3 hours. All one could do was to walk up and down the verandah of the little rustic restaurant situated on the Jungfrau until the storm subsided. There was nothing to be seen but snow. Everybody left about 4PM but I stayed in the hopes of seeing the sun come out. Was worth staying as the sun finally came out. The Alps gradually unveiled themselves and with the sun shining on them, it was a wonderful sight.".

Statutory Right to cancel
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us, House of Mirth Photos, 116 Pleasant Street, Suite 142, 01027, Easthampton, Massachusetts, U.S.A., +1 4133203830, of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory. You can also electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us or House of Mirth Photos, 116 Pleasant Street, Suite 142, 01027, Easthampton, Massachusetts, U.S.A., +1 4133203830, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
