Marvelous period stipple engraving of a wide-eyed Jones with pistols tucked in his waistband. Marked under image: "J. Chapman sculpsit" and dated August 1st 1796. 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" image is expertly inlaid into a 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" sheet. Condition: Some overall faint foxing (not distracting), otherwise very good.
