By Olive Logan and printed in Philadelphia by Parmelee and Co. 1870, 678 pp, 9 x 6 , cloth, 8vo. In fair condition, with slight rubbing and rounding of corners to the boards. Spine intact, with wear to the head and tail. Intact gilt lettering and designs. Hinges are desiccated at the title page and the back board. Small inscriptions and former owner s name to boards and front endpapers. Front endpapers, title page, and frontispiece exhibit foxing; remaining text block in good condition, with minimal toning and free of marginalia. Illustrated throughout with 55 full-page illustrations. Please see photos. Olive Logan (1839-1909) was an American actress and author, who published works about show business and in support of women s suffrage.
