Folio. A vibrant 1860 Johnson & Browning map of Palestine, extremely relevant in today's world. This map features a large street map of Jerusalem in vignette at the lower right, depicting important religious historical sites, as well as a bird's-eye view of Damascus in vignette in the upper left. Modern-day Jordan is depicted as several different territories and Palestine is broken into its ancient lands, such as Judea, Ephraim, Samaria, Zebulon, Galilee, Phenicia, and more. This map is in Very Good condition, with a touch of tanning, but with colors that are remarkably bright for paper of this vintage.
