not numbered Red boards. Light rubbing to the head and tail of the spine and just enough to the lower corners to lighten the color of the tips. Front hinge a bit weak. Gilt lettering on the spine and front board is bright and shiny. Some soiling on the FREP. Pages are otherwise clean and crisp. Illustrations throughout. DJ - has just a trace of rubbing at the head and tail of the spine and a hint of wrinkling on the tips of the upper corners.Light wrinkling along the upper part of the rear cover. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. Hardcover with dust jacket, published by Lands End Press. This is the 1969 reprint edition. Scandalous on first publication, Twain had this published anonymously in 1880. Written as diary entries as by Elizabeth I, in which she details scatological conversations with writers of the time. Illustrated by Alan Odle. 9" X 11", un-paginated - approx. 30 pages. Dust jacket is not price clipped. A vertical panel of sun fading on the back of the jacket at the right side, about 1-1/2" wide. Jacket also has some scattered bump marks. Top right corner of the first flyleaf has a discolored rectangle where most likely an address label had been, about 1-1/2" X 3/4". No further former ownership marks besides that, no writing on the text pages. Binding is tight and square. Bright red colored cover boards with the title in gold blind-stamped on the spine and front board. Some faint edge wear to the head and heel of the spine of the boards, minor bump marks to the edges.
