Small 8vo. Softcover. Pp. 37. UK Edition. In very good condition; staple bound, with black illustration and title on the cover; very slight shelf-wear to the cover, faint marks with some fading towards the edges and light pencil marks in upper right corner. Pages themselves clean and unmarked. Pages 17-19 have a scratch running across the pages, without obstructing the text. Very small ink marks on the corners of page 20. Nelson Hahne, one of the best magic illustrators in the business, was commissioned to provide the 53 pen-and-ink drawings that accompany the text. The booklet is without a print date. Ralph W. Hull was a professional magician, author and inventor of a number of commercial effects. Hull was a performer at Coney Island as the Chautauqua and Lyceum headliner. He was also involved in his family business, Hull Pottery manufacturing company, in Ohio. He is best know for the mechanical decks he developed using his Rough and Smooth principle.
