If these principles are violated, the government shifts away from a republic, thereby breaching the 10th Amendment-the final amendment in the Bill of Rights. The book also explores related topics, such as how mob rule can lead to violations of the 10th Amendment. This book has been revised in dedication to my Uncle Danny. My name is Donald Marchi. My uncle, Daniel H. Marchi, authored a series of constitutional books between 2010 and 2015, analyzing how far our government structure has departed from the framework created by the Founding Fathers. He shared these books with many elected officials and made them available online for educational purposes. On January 22, 2015, Uncle Danny passed away. He was a brilliant mathematician, computer scientist, and WWII veteran (B-24 nose gunner). As a computer scientist, he contributed to many of the coding class libraries still in use today. More importantly to me, he was my most cherished friend, mentor, and advisor. I can still hear him say, "Let me tell ya somethin'!"He viewed the Constitution as a mathematical truth, inherently applicable to all Americans. His wish was to share his comparison of our current government structure with the one originally intended by the Founding Fathers-a true republic. This book highlights the 10th Amendment, which ensures equal representation in the federal government, forming the basis of our republic-and how that republic has been dismantled by the loss of equal representation.I'm honored to present to you Uncle Danny's analyses. But first, allow me to share a small part of his story that he told me years ago. I titled it "The Way of Our Dreams" for a speech I gave to my peers many years ago. This item is printed on demand. In this powerful and moving memoir, a survivor shares her harrowing journey through Covid during the height of the global pandemic. When what was meant to be a peaceful stay in Jamaica turned into a fight for her life, this author's unwavering faith became her anchor.
With raw honesty, she recounts the terrifying experience of battling Covid in a foreign country and the extraordinary sacrifice of her daughter who travelled from England to Jamaica to bring her home to Bermuda. This deeply personal account reveals not only the physical and emotional challenges of long-term recovery but also celebrates the author's remarkable achievements and recognitions earned despite her ongoing health struggles.
More than just a survival story, this book stands as a testament to the human spirit's resilience. Through intimate reflections on grief, healing and gratitude, the author demonstrates how faith, family and friendship can sustain us through our darkest hours and how personal triumphs are possible even in the face of tremendous adversity.
For anyone who has faced life-altering trials or supported loved ones through illness, this inspiring narrative offers hope and reminds us that even in our most vulnerable moments we are never truly alone and our accomplishments remain within reach. A touching tribute to those lost to the pandemic and a celebration of perseverance, achievement and the strength to overcome life's most difficult tests.
