1信,是所盼望之事的实底,是未看见之事的确据。2古人在这信上得了称许。

3因着信,我们知道宇宙是借神的话造成的;这样,所见之物并不是从显然之物造出来的。

7因着信,挪亚蒙神指示尚未看见的事,就起了敬畏的心,建造了一艘方舟,使他的全家得救。借此他就定了那个世代的罪,自己也承受了那因信而来的义。

8因着信,亚伯拉罕蒙召以后,就遵命往将来要得为业的地方去;他出去的时候,还不知道要往哪里去。9因着信,他在应许之地寄居,好像是在异乡;他居住帐棚,与那承受同样应许的以撒和雅各一样;10因他等候那座有根基的城,其设计者和建造者都是神。

11因着信,连撒拉也得了能力怀了孕,尽管她已过了生育期;因她认定那位赐应许的是信实的。12所以从一个彷彿已死的人就生出子孙,如同天上的星那样众多,海边的沙那样无数。

13这些人都是存着信心死的,并没有得着所应许的;却从远处望见,欢然迎接,又承认自己在世上是客旅,是寄居的。14说这样话的人,是表明自己在寻求一个家乡。15他们若是想念所离开的家乡,都有机会可以回去。16他们却是想望一个更美的家乡,就是在天上的家乡。所以,神并不以被称为他们的神为耻;祂也已经为他们预备了一座城。

17因着信,亚伯拉罕被试验的时候,就把以撒献上。这位领受了应许的,愿将他独生的儿子献上。18论到这儿子,曾经有话说:从以撒生的,才要称为你的后裔。19他认定,神甚至能使人从死里复活;从喻意说,他也确实从死里得回了他的儿子。

23因着信,摩西的父母在他生下来后,见他是个俊美的孩子,就把他藏了三个月,并不畏惧王的法令。

24因着信,摩西长大以后,就拒绝被称为法老女儿之子。25他宁愿和神的百姓同受苦害,也不愿意暂时享受罪中之乐。26他把为基督受的凌辱,看得比埃及的财物更宝贵,因他想望将来的赏赐。27因着信,他就离开埃及,不惧王的烈怒;他恒心忍耐,如同看见那不能看见的神。28因着信,他守逾越节,行洒血的礼,使那杀灭长子的不临近以色列人。

29因着信,以色列人走过红海如走干地;埃及人试图走过去,就被淹没了。30因着信,以色列人围绕耶利哥城七天,城墙就倒塌了。31因着信,妓女喇合和和平平接待探子,就没有和那些悖逆的人一同灭亡。

32我还要再说什么呢?若要述说基甸、巴拉、参孙、耶弗他、大卫、撒母耳和众先知的事,时间就不够了。33因着信,他们制伏了敌国,施行了公义,得着了应许,34堵住了狮子的口,扑灭了熊熊烈火,刀口下得以逃脱,从软弱变为刚强,争战中显出大能,打退了外邦军队。35有妇人得自己的死人复活;又有人宁愿受严刑,也不肯苟且得释放,为要得着更美的复活。36还有人遭受戏弄、鞭打,甚至捆锁、囚禁,37被石头打死,被锯成两半,被刀剑杀害,披着绵羊山羊的皮四处奔波,受穷困,遭患难,被苦害,38在旷野和山岭飘流,在山洞和地穴栖身;他们是这世界不配有的人!

39这些人都因信蒙了称许,然而尚未得着所应许的,40因为神给我们计划了更美的事,使他们没有我们就不能完全。

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Information regarding the right of withdrawal

Statutory right to withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to GreatBookPrices, Bensenville, Illinois, U.S.A., without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
