] Very nice condition, including the work's original frame. "Near Fine", since I have to choose from a drop-down menu. Signed in the lower right corner "Chas. P. Gruppé". Fairly large with stretcher measuring 27 x 40 inches. Frame measures 32 x 45 1/2 inches. A little research has lead me to believe the painting was made in the vicinity of Rochester, New York.
