About this Item
Being a survey of the condition of Europe at the end of the 16th century with an introduction and an account of Fynes Morysons' career. Signed by the author Charles Hughes of Manchester in May 1905/08 to Frederick Shum of Bath. The book was presented to Bath Public Reference Library by A W Page in 1923, but there are none of the usual lending library stamps. Cream vellum spine with black titles, rather soiled, and some wear at spine ends; brown paper boards show some wear especially at corners. xlvi, 497 untrimmed pages with several fac-simile letters. Signed 1st edition in good condition published in 1903 and signed by the author. Further information readily available if required. Seller Inventory # 002883
