About this Item
Blue cloth hard cover with dark blue titles on front cover and faded gilt titles on spine. There is some cover edge wear and some damage at each spine end and some patchy loss of colour to boards. Quite clean interior with xiv, 376 pages, a portrait and 28 plans. Inside the front cover is a book plate - The gift of M Oppenheim (pioneer historian of English naval administration, 1853-1927) in 1919 (which suggests Oppenheim obtained the book before the publication date) to Bath Public Reference Library, but none of the usual lending library labels.
