First edition, with dust wrapper. Black boards with silver lettering on the spine. Board edges are well rubbed and well faded. Head and tail of spine bumped. Moderate discolouration, foxing and staining of page edges, particularly at the head edge. Binding is neat and tidy. Previous bookseller's stamp on tail of front pastedown. Free endpapers and pastedowns are well foxed, along with a patches of discolouration. Pages are lightly browned and bear some foxing, else book is in fair condition. Dustwrapper is rubbed and well discoloured. Back cover bears scratches and some scuff marks along with some heavier discolouration. Some creasing towards the edges. Small section of dust wrapper missing at the head corner of front cover (see image) and head of spine. The occassional tear and chip along edges. Price clipped.
