In der anschließenden Synthese wird aufgezeigt welche Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede sich sowohl lokal, als auch überregional ausmachen lassen. Beantwortet wird letztlich die Frage, wogegen sich der Protest richtet. Dabei werden eine unmittelbare 'erste', sowie eine übergeordnete, 'zweite' Ebene der Protestgründe identifiziert. Abschließend wird erläutert, warum der urbane Raum seitens der Akteure empirisch keinesfalls zufällig als Ort des Widerstands ausgewählt wird.
