First Edition
Hard Cover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. First Edition. Original hardcover publication. Probably Helen Hay's first book, published in 1898. Small book of sonnets and poetry. Measures about 4 1/2" by 7" with 72 pages. Covers are good, corners are rounded and spine is broken, esp. At front with someone's taped reinforcement inside front cover. Someone penned "1898" under the roman numerals on the title page. First 5 leaves have a tear about 2" up from bottom near the spine. Book and pages are otherwise clean than I have allready described. Very rare book, I was unable to locate another original copy anywhere.
