Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. First Edition. 250 g.; In original colour illustrated softcover binding. The book has been read, but shows no damage. The following has been taken from the publisher's website -- There is no doubt Lyn Wiegmans has a fighting spirit and a very good sense of timing to go with it. She has to. Her very life depends on it. The chime of the grandfather clock, the cuckoo bird, the relentless beeping of the radio clock. for Lyn these are battle cries never to be ignored. On the inside two opposing forces lock in a timely battle each one fighting for supremacy every single day of Lyn's life. Killing off the enemy is a timely manoeuvre and accuracy counts for everything. Yet on the outside one would never know the inner turmoil of those opposing forces. This is a semi-biographical work. Lyn offers a greater understanding of the complexities of living with the enemy, but more importantly, she shows it is possible to still embrace life and love it regardless of the internal battle. She's living proof that you can survive with diabetes through the various stages of life if you just take charge. Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. This book takes the basic vision of the Second Vatican Council that the Church is a 'communion'. The author reflects widely on its meaning in today's social circumstances. We get occasional glimpses of frustration and disappointment, but these always give way to a hope that things can change, that they can be different. Inscribed by Author(s).
