The binding is lightly bumped & soiled. 36 pages. Full-page & textual illustrations in black & white. The top corner of the 2nd leaf is creased & a few page corners & top edges are lightly bumped. Very good. Catalog for a traveling exhibition which opened at the Museum of Modern Art on March 10, 1970. Hector Guimard [1867-1942] was the leading French architect-designer in the Art Nouveau style. Though best known for the subway entrances which he designed for the Paris Metro company in 1900 he also designed more than fifty buildings and hundreds of decorative objects.

He is the author of over 60 publications, including books on Lachaise, Nakian, Diebenkorn and Frank Lloyd Wright.
