El Consulado General de Italia, la Agregaduría Cultural de Italia y la Municipalidad de Córdoba, Agentina, han organizado conjuntamente con el Museo Municipal de Bellas Artes Dr. Genaro Pérez la presentación de la colección de Alta Moda del Museo de la Fundación Sartirana Arte de Pavia.Julio de 2003.principales diseñadores que participan de esta muestra, son: Giorgio Armani, Renato Balestra, Roberto Capucci, Raffaella Curiel, Gigliola Curiel Castellini, Gianfranco Ferré, las Hermanas Fontana, Egon von Fürstenberg, Irene Galitzine, Gattinoni, Pino Lancetti, Emilio Pucci, Mila Schön, Ken Scott, Valentino, Jole Veneziani, y Gianni Versace. Algunos de estos, diseñadores son extranjeros que vinieron hacia las nombradas ciudades, dado el éxito y el auge que iba tomando la moda italiana que para muchos estaba superando a la moda parisina, hasta ese entonces, exclusivos dueños de esa distinción. La muestra "Vestir Italiano" nos trajo las expresiones de la moda desde la década de los años '50 hasta mediados de la década del '90, ejecutados en las ciudades de Roma y Milán, pudiéndose destacar las diferencias existenes entre ambas, donde en la de Milán, prevalece la influencia que tiene en sus diseñadores el aporte de la carrera de Diseño Industrial, donde no sólo aportan nuevas tendencias a través de los años, sino el diseño de las riquísimas telas también diseñadas especialmente para determinados modelos, mientras que en la moda romana, se advierte el gran valor artesanal en sus terminaciones y la diversidad de propuestas.
