This is an antique business book, "How to Write Letters That Win" - 247 Vital Pointers Gathered from a Study of 1,200 Actual Letters. 1910 5th edition (stated); The System Company; Chicago and New York. There is a small illustration at the beginning of each chapter. "How to build business letters that command attention, stir desire, bring orders - How to put the personal touch into a letter - Handling inquiries, complaints and collections - Actual letters that have brought results." The contents are as follows: What You Can Make Your Letters Do; Elements of the Business Letter; How to Make a Letter Talk; Handling Collections and Complaints; Exhibit of Actual Letters Reproduced. Condition: Clean back cover; light soiling to the front cover; light staining on the spine. Sharp cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. The front blank end paper has been removed. Nice interior - the text pages are clean and appear unread with only a small, light smudge at the top of the title page, and a tiny tear at the top-right corner of page 5.
