1903, Hardcover. Edited with an Introduction by F.O.Matthiessen, which first appeared in "The Partisan Review". This edition has 12 stories that have been reprintedby special arrangement with the Estate of Henry James and the original publishers holding copyrights. Navy blue cloth boards with gilt title on spine. However, it is quite worn. Bottom of the spine has slight fraying. Pages in good condition, although there is some spotty underlining from prior owner. Seller Inventory # 454
