Two hardcover volumes with leather spines and marbled boards: 1) Martin Chuzzlewit published in 1850 with frontispiece from a drawing by Frank Stone, xvi, 496 pages, gilt titles within black frame, some wear to boards and rubbing of leather. 2) Barnaby Rudge, a tale of the riots of 'eighty, published in 1849 with a frontispiece drawn by Hablot Knight Browne and engraved by W T Green, gilt title within frame on spine, minimal rubbing of leather, some rubbing of boards, boards and spine are complete and intact, but separated from book, iv, 380 pages.
