An ex-library rebind into half-leather boards with the usual amount of stamps. The front board is loose from the binding and the rear board is split at the hinge and close to becoming loose. The spine cover is absent. The boards are notably worn with some chipping to the edges. The ffep is loose and the frontispiece is coming loose. The untrimmed page edges have dust darkened but the saving grace of this copy is the textblock which remains in good condition, with only a very faint tan to the page outer edges and often clean, unmarked pages. The print is unfaded and the textblock binding is quite firm. A reading and reference copy only. Not suitable for shelf presentation as-is but a nice candidate for a rebind.
