Three small (9x14cm) pocket size black leather bound hard covers with very little cover wear apart from a small chip/tear to lower spine end of volume III. Gilt titles within both maroon and dark brown frames on each spine, in addition to gilt decorations on spines and on borders of both rear and front boards, and gilt decoration in middle of each front board. Inside each front cover is a book plate for W Summerby superimposed on attractive brown marbled paper. Volume I: vi, 311 pages, 6 full page plates including frontispiece; volume II: yellow silk tassel, 393 pages, 4 plates including frontispiece; volume III: 344 pages, 3 plates including frontispiece. Thirteen plates in total, volume I has 1988 inscription. Complete set of 3 volumes published in 1818 by Sherwood and in very good condition. Seller Inventory # 004142
