About this Item
Rebound compact hardcover with dark brown leather spine and lighter brown cloth boards. Gilt titles on spine with gilt number 321 and gilt horizontal lines also on spine, some wear involving spine ends and patchy fading of boards. The author is not named, just the author of "Alice Grey", but the presumed author is Frances Levett. Missing (blank) pages before the title page which has some supportive tape, vii, 232 pages with illustrations for each of the 14 chapters; printed by W Clowes. Typed inscription - S Clark 15th Dec 1902 inside front cover with "18" - the book may have been part of a private library. Quite scarce copy which is undated, but possibly 1856, and in reasonably good condition. Seller Inventory # 004191
