About the Author
Ewald Gerhard Hartmann (Ewger) Seeliger Provokateur und Bestsellerautor des 20. Jahrhunderts, ist noch heute bekannt durch seinen Roman „Peter Voß der Millionendieb", der in einer Millionenauflage gedruckt, fünfmal verfilmt, als Hörspiel publiziert wurde und als Musical auf die Bühne kam. Aufsehen erregte Seeliger als Humoranarchist mit seinem „Handbuch des Schwindels". Seine Bücher waren im Dritten Reich verboten, seine erotischen Barockromane „Junker Schlörk" und „Vielgeliebte Falsette" wurden in der Adenauer-Ära auf den Index gesetzt. Seeliger schrieb fast 80 Bücher. Dazu zählen schlesische Historien und Novellen, erotische Barockromane sowie Seefahrer-, Abenteuer- und Science Fiction-Romane. Berliner Tagesspiegel zu Seeliger: „Ein Verbosnik, Skriptomane, Meinungskolportant - sprachlicher Gewalttäter, aber Pazifist, lammfriedlich, aber Querulant."
