Se sabía que algunos navegantes feniciºs, saliendº del mar Rºjº, habían entradº en el Mediterráneo, cºn el mismº navío, pºr el estrechº de Gibraltar por cºnsiguiente, se conjeturaba que del ºcéanº Atlánticº se pºdía llegar pºr mar a la desembºcadura del mar Rºjº, y, navegandº al Este, arribar a las islas de las Es pecias.
