Review:
Expanding on the exemplary 1st edition, this new volume will be received by new and seasoned scholars as comprehensive, compelling, and user-friendly.--Timothy Austin, Indiana University of Pennsylvania
I greatly appreciate the layout of Donald Shoemaker's new edition of Juvenile Delinquency. The focus on theories of delinquency are especially welcome; not only providing excellent information as it pertains to juvenile delinquency, but also serving as an excellent introduction (or reinforcement, depending on the student) to criminological theories in general. The examples throughout the text are relevant and fresh, and I would definitely assign this text for my undergraduate juvenile justice course.--Rebecca Welch, Ph.D., lecturer I, University of Texas at San Antonio
