Edited and introduced by Marjorie Tipping, who found the manuscript in the Hereford County Record Office. One of the few early accounts of the aborted Sullivan Bay settlement (prior to the foundation of Melbourne nearby). Descriptions of native people and animals seen, plus events and activities aboard the ship. This is the first of a proposed series of small publications related to the early settlement of Port Phillip and Van Diemen's Land.
