Synopsis
The Rookwood pottery, founded in Cincinnati, Ohio, produced experimental decorated and commercial pottery from 1880 until 1967. This new book stands ahead of all other references by offering the most complete understanding of Rookwood products, and it places Rookwood's glaze lines in the context of the pottery's history. Anita J. Ellis is the curator of decorative arts at the Cincinnati Art Museum, where she has spent 16 years studying Rookwood Pottery.
