Review

"Carr-Ruffino has done it again. She's written a book that's readable, packed with great information, and gives us more than is expected. A chapter on the diversity dimension of appearance is an example of debunking the myths and offering solutions."
-Julie O'Mara, former National President, ASTD, author, Diversity Activities and Training Designs, co-author, Managing Workforce 2000: Gaining the Diversity Advantage

"Diversity Success Strategies is an informative, comprehensive, and practical book. It is easy to read and is a must for everyone who is seriously interested in learning about and working more effectively with diverse people. This book provides useful information and sound advice. I highly recommend it."
-James P. Gray, Center for Organization Effectiveness, Inc.

"An invaluable compendium of social and legal information applied to strategies for facilitating the productivity of people with diverse physical and cognitive abilities."
-Anita Silvers, Ph.D., author, Disability, Difference, Discrimination: Perspectives On Justice In Bioethics and Public Policy

"Norma Carr-Ruffino has given us a set of tools to build bridges. In addition to a rich assembly of enlightening, even curious facts, Diversity Success Strategies offers important insights into the morés and cultural forces that inform our most fundamental values and attitudes. It also offers hope that by learning to see our own previously unseen cultural tendencies and by increasing our understanding of other groups, we can reduce misunderstanding, enhance professional performance, and enrich the human experience."
-Antoinette Maillard, CEO, McWilliams Maillard Technology Group, Inc.

"This book is extremely insightful. It's a must read for anyone who has the responsibility of managing people in today's workplace environment. It is an eye-opening revelation of how we should deal with each other in the workplace. Apply these principles in your business and you are bound to be a success. Three cheers for Norma Carr-Ruffino for a job well done."
-P. Terry Anderlini, Senior Partner, Law Firm of Anderlini, Finkelstein & Emerick, Past President of the State Bar of California
