Native son of Detroit, John Jeffire is an English teacher and wrestling coach at Chippewa Valley High School.
He is married to Tracey and has a daughter, Lea and a son, Jake. The family owns two Jack Russell Terriers.
John was inspired to write this book by the music and song lyrics of major Detroit area artists, in particular the MC5.
Like these musical icons, John strives to raise the social consciousness of his readers.
