Similimum, its defective arrangement is strikingly manifest. Nor is this all, for even when we have decided upon the appropriate remedy, the question Of the dose, or Of the potency best adapted to secure the medicinal effect desired, remains to be considered; for, it is Obvious that the action of a drug will differ, and differ not only in force but in the character of the action as well, in accordance with the potency used.
