About the Author:

Kenneth C. Creech is the Fairbanks Professor of Communication at the College of Communication at Butler University. He was general manager of WTBU-TV for 12 years, and has worked in both commercial and public broadcasting. His professional experience includes broadcast journalism, management, creative, and consulting positions.
